This is a rare find!! An Iceman IC-500. Produced in the Fugijen factory IN 1994 with only 200 of this model ever being made.
This guitar looks, feels and sounds fantastic, with some general play marks here and there. Missing the original pickguard, Some very minor fret wear to the first two frets, the usual discolouration to the 'cosmo black' bridge and tailpiece and some lacquer cracks around the very thick perloid binding, this is purely cosmetic and something that happens over time. There is some bucklerash to the back and a couple of nicks and dings around the edges of the body.
There have been a few modifications to this guitar since 1994. The original knobs have been replaced, the strap buttons have been relocated at somepoint in its life and then placed back in their original position. The original V7 and V8 humbuckers have been replaced with a Select Humbucker by EMG in the neck and a very tasty Jaydee Hooligan Humbucker, handmade by John Diggins in the bridge (please see images).
This guitar does come with its original hardcase but like the guitar shows some signs of use.
